A warm welcome to the Cotswold View Guesthouse. We are situated in the quiet, unspoilt village of Nether Westcote with lovely views of the Evenlode valley. This quiet little village boasts a pub, caravan site, equestrian centre, herbalist, Church and Methodist Chapel.

The Guesthouse and Cottage are in our old farmyard which has been in the family for several generations. The village is midway between Stow on the Wold and Burford and only 4 miles from Bourton on the Water an ideal centre from which to explore the Cotsolds. Also within easy reach are historic places like Blenheim Palace, Warwick and Sudeley castles and Stratford upon Avon. Oxford is less than an hour’s drive and Bath only an hour and a half. As well as being famous for the beautiful countryside, rolling hills and honey coloured stone cottages the Cotswolds are become well known for beautiful gardens.

Rooms and Facilities


Cotswold View comprises 7 rooms all with en-suite or private facilities. All our bedrooms are individually furnished with matching decor and are provided with colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities.

The Cotswold Suite
The Cotswold Suite is our master bedroom with four poster bed, sitting area, full bathroom en-suite with bath and shower. The suite has sweeping views over the Evenlode Valley

Room 2
Room 2 is a family, double or twin bedded room situated in the main house with double and single beds, sitting area and en-suite shower room.

Room 3
Room 3 is a single room with en-suite shower and private toilet facilities and has Views over our Garden.

Room 4
Room 4 is a single bedroom adjacent to the Cotswold suite in the main house. This room has a private bathroom with bath and shower.

Room 5
Room 5 is a Double / twin bedded room with en-suite shower room and sitting area. This room also enjoys views over the fields to the neighbouring village of Church Westcote.

The Granary suite
The Granary suite is a twin bedded room with futon. This room has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower.

The Hayloft suite
The Hayloft suite is a family room with double and single beds and futon. This room has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower.

Guests may also relax in our comfortable lounge and enjoy the pleasant gardens with wonderful panoramic views across the Evenlode Valley.

We would advise guests that this is a non-smoking establishment.

The Stable Cottage
The Stable Cottage, adjacent to the guesthouse, provides the choice of a self catering holiday (linen and towels provided) or the luxury of a private suite of rooms with breakfast served in the guesthouse.

The cottage comprises double and twin bedrooms, bathroom with bath, kitchen with cooker, fridge and dining table, lounge with colour TV and coal effect gas fire. All towels and linen are provided. There is ample parking and a small patio area although you are welcome to use the guesthouse garden.
