Fabulous self-catering accommodation just minutes from Stratford upon Avon town centre.

The Weston Sands development comprises 6 lovingly restored and individually styled barn conversions, specifically designed to provide luxurious self-catering accommodation in the Heart of England.

We offer a wealth of natural features and a varied and extensive range of accommodation. Set in beautiful open countryside, but in close proximity to Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon, these luxuriously converted properties are stylishly furnished on a contemporary theme with high quality fixtures and fittings.

Each property is unique in its design and is presented in immaculate order with accommodation providing every comfort.

In addition, one property has been specifically designed to provide a self-catering unit for disabled visitors.

These holiday cottages are available for periods of 2 to 3 days, one or two weeks and longer terms by negotiation. There are parking facilities adjacent to each property and safe, communal gardens to enjoy. Close by is the beautiful Cotswold countryside offering all its amenities, including Stratford upon Avon, Broadway and Stow on the Wold. Warwick Castle , Oxford and Blenheim Palace are just a short drive away.

The Self-catering Cottages

Sands View Cottage:

This property features floor to ceiling glass windows to the front and rear elevation, offering light and spacious accommodation with excellent views. A galleried landing offers quiet and relaxing areas to sit and enjoy the surrounding countryside.

The ground floor offers a large seating area with a leather suite, coffee table, TV and dinning table for up to 6 people. There is a door to the rear communal gardens.

The kitchen offers a modern design and is fully equipped with an extensive range of cupboards, all of which are finished to a very high standard.

The bedrooms are spacious and well equipped with wardrobes, mirrors, en-suite showers and wall lighting. The family bathroom also has a shower, bath and washbasin.

Ideally suited to a family or group of friends looking for a special place to stay.

The Wheat House:

One of our larger properties offering good sized, flexible accommodation for up to 6 people. There are many exposed beams and period features throughout and care has been taken to restore these for your pleasure and enjoyment.

The delightful bedrooms offer accommodation in two double rooms and a twin. Each room has low level wall lighting, wardrobe storage and en-suite shower facilities. In addition, there is a large family bathroom with shower, bath and washbasin.

The spacious ground floor has a large kitchen with fully fitted breakfast bar area finished in stainless steel and marble. The lounge and dining area is extremely spacious with leather furniture, TV, occasional tables, seating for 6 at a large dining table and a door to the gardens.

The Grain Store:

This delightful 3 bedroom property offers light and airy accommodation with superb views over open countryside from its galleried windows. Whether entertaining family or friends or simply relaxing in style, the Grain Store is perfect for your needs.

The décor is contemporary in style with attractive and comfortable furnishings throughout. There are 3 bedrooms, two of which have double beds and there is one twin bedded room.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an extensive range of modern appliances.

The spacious lounge has a TV, leather sofas and a dining table and chairs. Rear access to the communal gardens leads to views of the beautiful countryside, the nearby local farm and surrounding villages.

This property offers extensive accommodation for up to 6 people and is one of our larger, individually designed holiday homes. We recommend it for families or groups of friends.

 

The Cart Shed:

This is our most luxuriously appointed property for that special occasion. Its design is quite unique with many historic features restored and included along with more modern designs.

One key feature of The Cart Shed is its spiral staircase reaching up from the lounge to a magnificent main bedroom built into the eves of the property. With a wealth of exposed beams, low level wall lighting and windows, these combine to provide a high level of luxury and a feeling of exclusivity.

The ground floor offers a second bedroom, ample living space with two extremely comfortable leather sofas, TV with video/DVD, a CD player and fully fitted Kitchen. There is also a delightful bathroom with a shower, bath and washbasin.

The Mill

This property has been designed to help our disabled guests enjoy their holiday with us. It is located on the ground floor with easy access from the adjacent parking space. The interior has been carefully arranged to make access to all rooms as easy as possible for our guests using wheelchairs or those who may need other assistance.

There is one bedroom, a fully fitted kitchen, a good sized lounge and dining area and a bathroom. All are presented in a contemporary style with comfortable furnishings and quality fixtures and fittings.

The grounds of the development offer views over open countryside and areas for relaxing.

Avon Retreat

This is a two bedroom property. The contemporary theme is continued with very comfortable living accommodation and excellent views.

Situated on the first floor and accessed via steps from the communal gardens at the rear. The accommodation comprises two bedrooms, a spacious lounge and dining area, a fully equipped Kitchen and a family bathroom. The décor and furnishings are of a high standard.

This is an ideal property for a smaller family or group of friends looking to enjoy a relaxing break in the Cotswolds.
